After struggling with cystic acne and hyperpigmentation in her early teens, Skincare Diary founder Briana "Bree" Scott encountered dozens of products only to be met with less than stellar results. It was during her own skincare journey that she realized the market was severely lacking. Frustrated with the amount of money she had poured into attempting to solve her skincare woes, Bree decided to take matters into her own hands. After mastering her craft as a licensed esthetician and aesthetic nurse, Bree began to notice that her clients, like her, were having difficulty developing a quality, at-home skincare routine that actually produced results. This was Bree’s lightbulb moment, and that’s how Skincare Diary was born.

Skincare Diary’s core mission is to offer esthetician-backed, medical-grade products that are as efficacious as the products you’d experience in the treatment room. By making these potent formulas available and accessible to the everyday consumer, Skincare Diary ensures the days of wasted time, money, and energy are gone. Bree is passionate about creating purposeful formulas that rely on science and proven ingredients to impart real results and newfound confidence among its users.

As a female-founded, Black-owned brand, Skincare Diary hopes to bring out the inner baddie in everyone. Aside from developing effective skincare products, we seek to encourage every woman to own her wellness journey and live a full life of self-love. We know that skincare is a part of that and believe that everyone — no matter their skin type, age, or background — should be able to achieve healthier skin.
